Tim hasn’t got any sporting achievements to boast about whatsoever; aside from being part of the legendary Sharjah Wanderers amateur rugby team that infamously beat Dubai Exiles in one of the toughest fought matches of the 1996 Bahrain rugby tournament.

That said, Tim is a keen sports and exercise enthusiast and what he lacks in achievement, he more than makes up for with enthusiasm; playing on rugby pitches, working out in gyms or running on roads for most of his life.

Tim’s love of rugby started at school and he has played for Sevenoaks RFC and Maidstone RFC in UK and numerous clubs in the Middle East.

After hanging up his boots some years ago, Tim took up running half marathons, and although never getting under the one elusive one hour forty-five, he set and completed the goal of running twelve half marathons in twelve months.

More recently Tim took up CrossFit and, for reasons best known to himself, started climbing mountains.

Tim loves CrossFit, describing it as “rugby in a gym” and has a love/hate relationship with climbing. Not surprising really, for a guy who hates heights.

Y’might think that someone with initials after their name would know their onions, right? Particularly in sports performance nutrition.

Well, Mike not only knows his onions, but also his carrots, peas, broccoli and everything else in between.

Mike is a registered nutritionist with an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science; his experience has seen him provide nutrition support across Olympic games and World Cups in multiple sports.

He has supported many Olympic and Paralympic champions over the last fourteen years, as well as providing support as Head of Nutrition at the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics.

Within the world of rugby, Michael worked with England Rugby for eight years, including working with the senior men’s team for the last two Rugby World Cup campaigns and the senior women’s team, who won the Women’s Rugby World Cup in 2014.

Further achievements include his work in football spanning over a decade, including six seasons in the Premier league and providing support at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and 2020 European Championships.
